The article examines the problem of scientific interpretation of the mental education “self” in a number of dissertations devoted to axiologically important key concepts that form the core of the Russian national linguistic picture of the world. The content specificity of the research subject of young scientists-carriers of other linguocultures is revealed, the conclusion is drawn about the importance of scientific communication of their representatives.

The author emphasizes that with age, the understanding of Pushkin's work deepens, revealing new facets of his legacy. Despite its greatness and eternal relevance, in recent years there has been a withdrawal of young people from national culture and patriotic values. This requires rethinking approaches to patriotic education in the light of the changes that have occurred in society and updating the ideology of educational activities.
