In this paper, the methods of cleaning oil tanks from oil sludge are considered in detail, a comparison of current methods of cleaning tanks using the example of specific installations is carried out to identify the most optimal method and delve into this topic. The composition of oil sludge and its harm to the reservoir were analyzed. The conclusion completes the work comprehensively.
