METHOD OF UHMWPE FIBERS MODIFICATION FOR INTRODUCTION IN RUBBER

The results of a study UHMWPE fibers properties are presented. The fibers were oxidized with a chromium mixture for introduction into rubber. It is shown that during processing, the oxidation of UHMWPE occurs. In this case, aldehydes and esters are formed, an increase in the number of methyl branches in the macromolecule occurs.
