This article considers the problem of family upbringing in modern Russian society. Family, being an association of people who are related by blood, marriage or adoption, form small cells, which at the same time all together form our society. Each family has its own family values and traditions and experience in raising children. Each family builds its own educational system. At the same time, the environment in which these children live has no less important influence on the moral, personal and moral development of children. Particular attention in this article is paid to the psychological and pedagogical analysis of the film "Scarecrow", which clearly shows the impact on children of their parents and the environment that these parents create around them.
