The article deals with the problem of the formation of personal self-regulation of children of senior preschool age in the conditions of the educational environment. The authors present the results of an empirical study using a set of techniques: "Conversation about the school" by T. A. Nezhnova, "The study of planning as an element of volitional action" by G. A. Uruntaeva, Yu. A. Afonkina, "The study of ways to express emotions" by G. A. Uruntaeva, Yu. A. Afonkina, "Studying volitional activity" by N. A. Tsyrkun, "Studying self-regulation" U. V. Ul'yankovo, "Studying self-control" by I. O. Domashchenko. The results of experimental work have proved the effectiveness of the formation of personal self-regulation of older preschoolers through the implementation of a series of didactic games in the educational process of a preschool educational institution.
