The development of the theory and technology of high-entropy alloys (HEA), consisting of several basic elements, poses a number of urgent tasks for researchers to comprehensively study the properties of new materials that determine the areas of their practical application.
This report presents an overview of scientific publications devoted to the study of the mechanical properties of the most studied HEAs based on the CoCrFeNiMn transition metal system, as well as to the study of the influence of certain types of welding on the quality indicators of welded joints.
As a result of the work performed, it was found that the strength and plastic properties of the considered HEAs correspond to the best samples of high-alloy austenitic steels used for cryogenic technology, and have the prospect of further improvement.
In this work, the influence of the structural state of the ZTV metal of 09G2S pipe steel after welding and heat treatment on the deformation processes during the delayed destruction of an above-ground pipeline under the influence of seasonal soil deformations in the permafrost zone was studied. The influence of the restructuring of the ZTV metal structure from post-welding heat treatment on the strength and ductility characteristics was examined. The deformation and fracture processes during three-point bending were recorded using acoustic emission.
In this article, the authors outline the key principles of how various plasticizers function in concrete mixtures and describe the operating mechanism of polycarboxylate‑based plasticizers. The study then presents research findings on the impact of two types of polycarboxylate plasticizers – Linamix PK and Qz LS – on the plasticity kinetics of cement paste with a 15 % reduced water‑to‑cement ratio. Based on the obtained data, graphs were constructed showing the dependence of the penetration depth of the Vicat apparatus needle in the cement paste on time elapsed since the addition of mixing water. It was found that both plasticizers have a similar effect on the cement paste, but the Qz LS plasticizer demonstrates a longer‑lasting plasticizing effect on the cement paste over time.
