The paper investigates the strength characteristics during compression and bending at low temperatures of concrete based on local raw materials of Yakutia, and local wood using polymer impregnation «Amokor», as a result of which data on the increase in strength characteristics of the material, the internal structure of modified concrete are obtained.

The article provides an overview of modern methods for producing cold asphalt concretes with complex modified binders. It examines Russian and foreign approaches to modifying bitumen emulsions with polymers, cement, and active mineral additives. The advantages and disadvantages of each group of methods are identified. It is shown that complex modification can increase the strength and water resistance of cold mixtures to the level of hot asphalt concretes.
Mineral waterproofing materials for protecting concrete and reinforced concrete structures from the destructive effects of water are analyzed. The classification of these materials based on their composition and mechanism of action is analyzed. The advantages of mineral compositions over bituminous and polymer materials are identified. The current trends in the development of materials science in this field are presented.
