IMPROVEMENT OF THE MI-8MT HELICOPTER POWER PLANT

The article describes the evolution of the Mi-8MT helicopters power plant from the initial version to the present day/ The main attention is paid to the improvement engines installed on increasingly modern versions of the Mi-8MT. The influence of new engine modifications on the characteristics of the most common helicopter in Russia is shown.
