The article describes the research practice methods of fourth-graders’ development about the content and characteristics of cultural sites. It is shown the research results and typical mistakes that the children made during the experiment.

The article shows the study results of primary students’ logic universal actions formation levels, the problems of primary students’ development. Extracurricular activities are considered as a tool of logic universal actions development. The extracurricular activities program of the research club «Erudit» is based on the work with projects.
