The article deals with the problem of state intervention in the economy in terms of participation in the capital of enterprises. The degree of state participation in the economy is considered in order to determine the rationality of such intervention in a market. Problems that are presented by experts in this field are analyzed. Theoretical substantiations of the inefficiency of the state as an owner of enterprises are given. The article examines the current problems and trends in the government's management of investments in the capital of companies. As a result of the work, the statement is presented that the state is currently not interested in a significant reduction in its own participation in the economy.
The organization of non-stationary social services for elderly citizens at the regional level is discussed in the article. The market of social services is analyzed: the status of suppliers, the range of services, dynamics of volumes. Empirical data characterize the features of the provision of social services in state and non-state organizations. The excess of demand for certain types of services over their supply is stated. The conclusion is about the necessity of active involvement of non-state social services providers in the sphere of social services to better meet the needs of elderly citizens.
