Keyword: «self-diagnostic concrete composite»
This study is devoted to the possibility of using graphene-like materials as modifiers to impart self-diagnostic properties to cement composites. It is noted that the introduction of graphene into the cement matrix makes it possible to improve the mechanical characteristics of concrete, as well as endow it with the ability to self-diagnose by changing the electrical parameters during deformation. The authors made prototypes of cement composites with the addition of mildly oxidize graphene and carried out compression tests with the simultaneous registration of electrical resistance. The results demonstrated the potential of using graphene nanomaterials to create self-controlled concretes.
