the relevance of the research on problems of selforganization of learning activity of students with different levels of modeling ability is premised on deficiency in its coverage. In this context the article is aimed at unveiling the holistic comprehension of terms mentioned above and their role in students’ learning activity. Examination of this issue is based on a metasystem approach allowing to study the role of students’ selforganization and modeling from a new prospective. In the article selforganization and modeling are examined from different angles, the particularities of these phenomena are revealed, the algorithm of selforganization and corresponding to it skills are brought to light. The findings provide practical value in terms of working with students on optimization of their learning skills through development of their individual ways of selforganization and modeling.
