The article analyzes the state of SMEs in the Russian Federation during the pandemic. The results of statistical studies describing the main problems of business development in Russia are presented, and possible measures of state support are considered. The international experience of using stimulating tools for the development of SMEs during the pandemic is studied.
The article analyzes the role and significance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the Russian Federation as a whole. It examines the key functions of SMEs in the context of economic diversification, job creation, market competition, and reducing social tension. Particular attention is given to assessing the challenges faced by the entrepreneurial sector of the regional economy. The authors emphasize the necessity of state support for the further development of the entrepreneurial sector, as well as the mechanisms for conducting business activities.
