The article analyzes the results of a theoretical and empirical study of differences in social perceptions of adult roles among orphaned adolescents and adolescents from families. The authors substantiate the idea that social representations of adult roles in orphaned teenagers and from families have significant differences. A comparison of ideas about parental, marital, professional, and socio-economic roles is given. The proposed approach will be of interest to teachers-psychologists of residential institutions, educational organizations, as well as parents.
