This work is devoted to the definition of the concept of corruption, its types and forms, in particular organised forms of its manifestation. The author characterises corruption as a socio-legal phenomenon, presents an analysis of the current legislation of the Russian Federation in terms of countering it. The most common forms of corruption crimes and the relationship with organised crime are considered.
