Socio-political Discourse: Translation Features of Pseudo-international Words

The article is devoted to the translation peculiarities of pseudo-international words in socio-political texts. The authors consider two types of “false friends of the translator”, analyze adequate variants of translation of such lexical items from English into Russian and the difficulties in translating international and pseudo-international vocabulary.
