To date, a huge number of people in all states lead a healthy lifestyle, the main component of which is considered to be sports. Sport is developing at a fairly rapid pace, gradually turning into a whole industry of sports and entertainment events. Physical culture and sports today are considered an important condition for strengthening and maintaining human health, improving their culture, the method of communication, active leisure, as well as an alternative to bad habits. This article identifies the common ground between the economy and sport, discusses the issues of interaction and the impact of physical culture and sport on the economic sphere.
