This article is devoted to the study of the application in the development of the modern state of the principles of the theory of social contract as a historical form of interaction between society and the state. The purpose of this article is the study and proposal for the modern application of some principles of the theory of social contract as a form of interaction between the state and society. The au-thor concludes on relevance of the theory of social contract in the modern science of jurisprudence to increase the effectiveness of the application of legislation.
