The best conditions for the development of science literacy are social situations of communication and interaction. The work of preschoolers on projects and research works, which are the main tool for implementing STEM education technology, allows children to analyze, ask questions, argue and make decisions, taking into account the interests of others.
Abstract: This article discusses the importance and future of STEM-education in Russia, emphasizing the need for its implementation and development in response to the demands of the modern labor market and global challenges. STEM education combines scientific, technical, and humanities disciplines.
The article examines the specifics of organizing students' research activities in the implementation of STEM education using the example of Armavir State Pedagogical University. The results of the survey are presented, confirming that the availability of special scientific equipment ensures the development of the necessary research competencies for future teachers. It is proved that modern technologies and equipment contribute to the clarity of learning, the formation of research competencies, critical thinking and professional confidence.
