Importance of forming the students’ general cultural competence is reasonable. Essence of formed general cultural competence of students of agricultural college is certain, its structures are given, criteria and indexes are described. Revealed insufficient levels of development of all structural components from studying 2 - 4 courses. The conclusion about the need for a special organization of the educational process to ensure the effective formation akmeologicheskoj orientation of the individual students.
