The relevance is determined by the fact that in the conditions of closely related Belarusian-Russian bilingualism, which implies the parallel functioning of both languages in all spheres of communication, a study of the peculiarities of the use of univerbs in a special (technical) field of use becomes essential. The purpose of the article is to compare the analysis of univerbs of a special (technical) sphere of use in Russian and Belarusian. The author comes to the conclusion that univerbs are found in a special (technical) speech of native speakers of Russian and Belarusian languages, the differences between university stores, testifies to the independent development of the univerbation process in two closely related languages.
