The article reveals the problems of using virtual excursions in the process of forming children of 5–6 years old about the historical past of their native land. The conditions for the formation of these ideas are considered. The practical significance of the work lies in the prospecting plan for the use of virtual excursions, as well as in the developed complex of virtual excursions, which can be useful for educators of DOO, teachers working in this subject.
