The article discusses the theoretical aspects of studying the problem of attitudes towards migrants in senior school age. The author analyzes the concept of «tolerance», as well as some of the prerequisites for the formation of attitudes towards migrants in senior school age. It is concluded that a high school student, on the one hand, has an interest in «the other», and on the other hand, may show opposition, rejection towards those who are not like the inner circle and himself, does not share the values, worldview of the reference group.
