The effect of detonation nanodiamond (DND) content on the tribological characteristics of tin bronze (80% Cu – 20% Sn) was investigated. Composites containing 0.5–3.0 wt.% DND were fabricated by hot pressing. It was found that the addition of 1.5 wt.% DND provides optimal performance: the friction coefficient decreases by 18%, mass wear by 26%, and linear wear by 21%.
