VEGETATIVE PROPAGATION OF AFRICAN VIOLETS IN VARIOUS SUBSTRATES

propagation of violets with leaf cuttings is the simplest and most commonly used method. This paper describes the technology of rooting leaf cuttings of violets. The main characteristics of some substrates used for rooting cuttings are given, and their effectiveness in comparison with soil mixtures is shown.
