The article examines the privileges and problems of the introduction of artificial intelligence in the investigation of terrorist crimes. Special attention is paid to the analysis of committed terrorist acts and ways to prevent new terrorist acts. The author describes options for the introduction of smart video cameras that will analyze human emotions in public places. The purpose of analyzing these emotions is described, which will be to prevent terrorist crimes. Emotions are proposed to be analyzed according to the proposed method of Paul Ekman. The problematic issues of protecting the safety of public places are revealed. It is proposed to implement a project similar to the German «Smart City» model. The danger that may exist due to a virtual tour of cultural sites is analyzed, due to the fact that the entire layout of the building is visible. It is proposed to introduce artificial intelligence into the Internet to prevent terrorist crimes. The shortcoming, which is financing, is described. When financing «smart» video cameras, it is proposed to assign the obligation to purchase such cameras not only to the state and the municipality, but also to private individuals who have privately owned institutions in which a large number of people accumulate. Summing up, it is concluded that artificial intelligence will significantly improve the situation in the investigation and prevention of terrorist crimes.
