The article is devoted to the review and analysis of approaches in Russian psychology to the problem of describing the attitude to work of primary school children. The concept of attitude to work is revealed, the indicators of attitude to work are considered. Special attention is paid to the results of an empirical study of the characteristics of the attitude to work in primary school children. The article concludes with a detailed description of the characteristics of the attitude to work among younger students who are brought up in families with different styles of maternal education.
