. Formation of the structure elements and yield of winter soft wheat varieties bred in KrasnodarThe article is devoted to a comparative assessment of new varieties of winter soft wheat bred by the P.P. Lukyanenko Research Center (Krasnodar) in ecological variety testing (ESI). The results on the yield and structure elements of the new varieties of cultivated crops are presented. The varietal features of the formation of the number of grains in the ear and the weight of 1,000 grains, which determine the level of their productivity, have been established. The most highly productive varieties have been identified, which optimally combine the elements of crop structure for specific agro-climatic conditions.
The article is devoted to results of the comparative assessment of winter soft wheat varieties in the environmental test of the Azov-Black Sea Engineering Institute. The object of the study was 12 varieties of winter soft wheat of the Zernograd and Stavropol breeding. The researches were carried out in 2024–2025 using field and laboratory methods. The period from germination to earing, resistance to stress-factors, yield and grain quality were researched. The most adaptive varieties with high grain yields were selected. Also sources of valuable features were identified for use in the breeding process.
