The introduction of information technology in education increases the effectiveness of teaching subjects. They are powerful means of realizing learning goals, involving students in a conscious perception of the material being studied and developing their ability to use various technologies to solve educational problems. In this regard, the article, as an example, considers the possibility of teaching students to use software tools such as GeoGebra, WolframAlpha when studying the basic concepts of a geometric transformation line in a basic secondary school.
