The article examines effective teaching methods for lean production in the system of secondary vocational education (SVE) as a basis for developing the work culture of future specialists. It analyses key pedagogical approaches that enable the integration of lean production principles into the educational process: problem‑based and practice‑oriented learning, the case method, business and simulation games, the project‑based method, “action learning”, and the use of digital technologies. The paper describes ways to implement specific lean production tools (“5S”, value stream mapping (VSM), “Kaizen”, visualisation, standardisation) into SVE curricula. It presents criteria for assessing the effectiveness of training, covering the level of knowledge, the development of skills and competencies, and students’ motivation. The role of the teacher as a mentor and a promoter of lean production ideas is emphasised, along with the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and enterprises. It is argued that an integrated approach to teaching lean production helps develop in students a work culture based on the principles of continuous improvement and enhances their competitiveness in the labour market.
