The paper offers guidelines for studying the topic “Comparative momentum” in the 8th grade. The authors focus on the development exercises and control tasks to study, secure and check the acquired material on the subject.

The paper presents the structuring results of the nuclear systems of the 30 largest Russian non-state pension funds. The structure is based on the volume of pension savings assets, pension reserve assets for authorized activities on the number of insured persons, non-state pension fund members on 31.12.2015 and assess levels of competition for these indicators by means of core market. The research is made on "RA Expert" rankings on the date of the Central Bank of Russia.

Within the framework of the theory of latent variables, the latent variable «motivation to success» is meas-ured on a linear scale. It is shown that estimations of indicators (questionnaire items) vary in big range that allows to measure precisely both low, and high level of motivation to success. The analysis of motivation to success is carried out within sex and age of employees.

The paper presents the author’s experiences in formation ideas about the possibilities of the axiomatic method in the process of construction and investigation of mathematical models in an integrated course of mathematics for 10th grade students. Starting from the consideration of vector sets on the plane jointly with linear operations, a method to introduce a system of linear space axioms is presented. The development of models for the internal laws of mathematics is illustrated by investigation the system of natural numbers extensions to the system of integers and rational numbers.

The paper considers the method of bringing the equations of curves and surfaces of the second order to the canonical form. The stages of practical calculating the orthogonal transformation resulting in a quadratic form to canonical form are illustrated on the examples. The prospects of using the application package in the educational process (namely, MathCAD environment) are shown. The procedure of finding the eigenval-ues and eigenvectors with this tool is demonstrated on the examples. Their finding is usually time-consuming, so for the speed of counting, it is advisable to use MathCAD program. The paper will be useful to students and lecturers during seminars on the subject "Linear Algebra".

The paper provides a method of the theme presentation "Conversion of stationary random process by linear dynamic systems with constant coefficients" in the "Stochastic processes" course. This mathematical tool is widely used in the theory of radio circuits. The work shows the example of applying the formulas from the theory of random processes in the problem of radio engineering, which is undoubtedly interesting for illustration the solution of applied problems. The article reveals the basic content of the objective course of additional mathematical formation of "inventive geometry", which is a structural unit of the system of training courses for the continuous development of creative thinking of students and uses tools and techniques specific to teaching mathematics. We give a general description of the system and determined in her course "Inventive geometry" for 7-9 grade students. The course content included issues related to the base geometry effects borrowed from TRIZ and adapted for high school, as well as practical, laboratory, design and research as key ideas actively introduce recently in the general education system-activity approach.
