The Linguistic-Cultural Aspect in the English Language Training in Technical University

Abstract. Studying foreign languages students are faced with a number of facts, relating not only to the vocabulary, grammar, style, but also to social, domestic or historic area. Learning English includes the variety of aspects. The article deals with the linguistic-cultural aspect as one of the major ones, providing the intercul-tural communicative competence.
