The methodological aspects of the use of the techniques of verbal account at the lessons of mathematics in 5th and 6th grades

Abstract. The paper reveals the need for mental arithmetic techniques at all stages of learning mathematics. In particular, the author defines the individual methodological aspects of learning mental arithmetic to the pupils of 5th and 6th grades. In particular, the author determines the separate methodological aspects for verbal account teaching. The author describes the methodology of verbal account teaching and the game situations, providing the better assimilation of the verbal account techniques at the lessons of mathematics.
