Abstract. Portfolio method is innovative method in the course of training of future teachers to design and technological activity. Application of the portfolio method in the classroom for design and manufacture of modern clothes allows each student to engineer and manufacture clothes, creating his own project portfolio using advanced computer technology. Professional competence in the field of fashion design and professional commitment to design and technological activity are formed when future teachers create project portfolio.
