Youth employment as a factor of social and economic development of the region

Abstract. The paper examines the factors, determining the ambivalent position of young people in the Russian labor market, shows multidimensionality of solving the employment problem associated with providing effective training and sustainable employment, improvement of the employment labor system in general and provision of social and legal guarantees for young people in labor and employment spheres.
