The article discusses the application of methods of analysis and comparison study to determine the rela-tionship of different generational groups to money as a social value.

The paper examines the factors, determining the ambivalent position of young people in the Russian labor market, shows multidimensionality of solving the employment problem associated with providing effective training and sustainable employment, improvement of the employment labor system in general and provision of social and legal guarantees for young people in labor and employment spheres.

The paper discusses the relevance of studying the phenomenon of labor mobility of young people in modern conditions of Russian society; the existing views on the effects of labor mobility. The author suggests the solution of the problem of formation and effective use of human resources by regulating the labor mobility of young workers.
