Abstract. Folk game is often seen as a means of education. Forgetting about the educational and developmental val-ue of play, we use it for entertainment, not noticing the cognitive content. So many questions arise in the use of games in the educational system of the school. The article reveals the necessity and inclusion of games in the educational process at the stage of consolidation of knowledge.
