The paper presents the experience of organization, management and control of independent work of stu-dents of engineering-economics department of Siberian State Automobile and Highway Academy. The pro-posed model is based on the active use of possibilities of the LMS Moodle. The paper presents the experience of computer-based testing in mathematics.
