this article reveals the role of compositional still life and interviews in the process of visual art lessons. The article explains the need for competent construction of the composition of the still life to improve knowledge, skills of pupils, for the development of aesthetic perception of reality. To focus on the need for questionnaires, survey, interviews, views work as important stages in the methodological activities of the teacher.

The paper deals with the importance of implementation of sculptural modeling of the human head; the main goals and objectives, focusing on knowledge of plastic anatomy, finding a proportional relationship of all parts and elements of the head, on a phased maintenance of work, on the study of sculptural volume plas-tics, transmission and creation of professional artistic image.

The authors examine the motivational commitment to educational and creative activity of students in draw-ing; pay attention to the importance of assignments for the study of the human head and single out the stages of drawing the human skull and plaster heads.
