The article discusses the musical sound and artistic setting of love passion in Aleksandr Blok’s “Three Messages” dedicated to actress Shchegoleva. Studying the romance in “the terrible world”, the poet depicts light and dark sides of passion, its harmonious and disharmonious sounds and color perception. Aleksandr Blok thinks that the sinful origin of passion does not exclude the beautiful feeling of love in the world of evil and vulgarity.
