. This paper shows the city as a complex sotsialny object comprehensive study of various sciences: philosophy, sociology, cultural and others. Particular attention is given to the consideration of certain issues of social and cultural influence on the formation of the modern city dweller. It is also noted that the socio-cultural component is a social consciousness as consciousness of social and psychological, people, united space, historically and economically organized.
