The article describes the problem of hypodynamia development, its prerequisites and consequences. The authors give the definition of "hypodynamia" concept and present the results of a study of hypodynamia risk in children of senior preschool age. They studied and determined the level of children's health (medical records of children were studied); the level of health culture of preschool children, their way of life, the level of parents' interest in the health of their children, as well as the level of valeological knowledge among teachers.
