The relevance of this work is determined by the need to implement one of the basic principles of pedagogy – the connection between theory and practice. This principle is consistent with the federal law "About Education in the Russian Federation", the current provisions of the FSES, which give schools the opportunity to build an educational process on the basis of individual learning plans. It is very important for high school students. The authors’ aim is to update education on the basis of individual learning plans in modern conditions, to develop recommendations for the introduction of this innovation, and filling in an electronic educational journal. Theoretical and methodological analysis, planning are the basis of the study. The results of the work consist in the fact that the authors offered recommendations on the introduction of individual learning plans into the educational process of the school; step-by-step instructions for filling in e-journals in terms of education based on individual learning plans; the main criteria for assessing the effectiveness of the implementation of education based on individual learning plans. In addition, the authors draw attention to the need to take into account the psychological condition of high school students in the changing conditions of the educational process. A number of theoretical statements published on the topic of organizing the educational process on the basis of individualization have been revised and adapted for heads and teachers of secondary schools. The authors reveal the content of activities of participants in educational relations at the preparatory, organizational, main and analytical stages of introducing and implementing the educational process on the basis of individual learning plans. The practical significance of the article lies in the fact that recommendations for the introduction of individual learning plans for students of high school, instructions for filling in electronic journals may be used in practice.
