This work sheds new light on methodological bases of the psychological analysis of behavior and action. The analysis «unit» is revealed. The article shows the interrelation of behavior and activity. The character structure is presented as manifestation of steady style of activity.

This work first gives the theoretical and methodological bases of information approach to the analysis of the mind as a system. The structural model of the organized mind with its main elements is presented. It promotes identification of the conceptual and categorial device of information approach in psychology, as well as provides new opportunities for development of system approach in human knowledge.
