The subject of the article is the number of methodical principles of implementation of the academic drawing, such as principle of sequence in work on drawing, principle of constructive analysis of the form in drawing, principle of tonal pattern and others. The author proves the opinion that mastering the methodical principles of work on the academic drawing is an obligatory condition of professional and artistic training of students in design education.

In this paper, the system approach reveals design stages of teaching academic drawing in preparation designers. For testing the developed system, a program management, identifies conditions, compliance with which will allow to successfully implement a system developed in the practice of design education.
