The paper deals with Dogme method in teaching English as a foreign language in the framework of communicative approach. This method involves full or partial teaching without textbooks and technologies (teaching unplugged) in favor of real communication.

This article deals with the ways to accelerate the process of mastering a foreign language, reveals the need for the transition from the classical to the communicative approach to teaching a foreign language. The main activities and the requirements to the teacher of a foreign language using the communicative approach are studied.
