The article examines current issues of organizing information security systems in municipal government bodies using the example of the Khimki urban district of the Moscow region. An analysis of the regulatory framework in the field of information security was conducted, including federal legislation and regional acts. The main threats to information security of municipal entities were identified: unauthorized access, cyber attacks, personal data leaks, use of foreign software. The organizational structure of information security management was considered, including strategic, tactical and operational levels. Directions for improving the information protection system were proposed in the context of digital transformation of public administration and implementation of technological sovereignty policy. Special attention was paid to protecting citizens' personal data and ensuring the security of critical information infrastructure.

The article is devoted to the study of the features of the organization of the information security system in municipal institutions using the example of the Ladushkinsky urban district. The main threats to information security faced by local governments are considered, and the regulatory requirements for information protection are analyzed. The necessity of creating a comprehensive system for protecting information resources of a municipality is substantiated, taking into account the limited financial and human resources.
