This article is dedicated to exploring the issues related to educational activities in a military university. The article examines the questions of adaptation and socialization of cadets in military collectives, as well as the impact of financial limitations on the university's activities as a whole and on the teaching staff in particular. Based on the research results, the authors propose a series of recommendations for improving the educational process in the military university and strengthening the psychological health of cadets, im-proving adaptation and socialization programs, and increasing the availability of psychological services for cadets. Overall, the research emphasizes the importance of a balanced approach to military education that takes into account the needs and potential of cadets and provides them with support during their studies.
