This article examines the problem of the legal nature of ongoingadministrative offenses, focusing on their significance in modern administrative law. The paper highlights the reasons for the increasein the proportion of continuing offenses among administrative offenses, focuses on the shortcomings of current legislation, whichdoes not contain a clear definition of continuing offenses, as well as their list. The author suggests a comprehensive approach to thestudy of the timing of the beginning, detection, termination and termination of ongoing administrative offenses.
