The article is devoted to the role of linguistic view of the world and reflected in the language set of ideas about the world. In the text, the concepts “national picture of the world”, “artistic picture of the world”. The suggestion of a linguistic view of the world being a question of a specific reflection of an objective reality by means of a language is considered to be the basic idea.
The purpose of the article is to reconstruct the concept of life on the basis of philosophical works, as well as Belarusian literary and folk aphorisms. This allows us to identify the common and distinctive features of the scientific, folklore and artistic worldviews, which are mediated by the linguistic worldview. It is concluded that there are universal, ethno-specific and individual components in the structure of linguo-mental formations
The article is devoted to the analysis of works by V. Nabokov's works of the Berlin period of creativity of the 1920s-1930s, when the central characters of his works, along with Russian emigrants (“Mashenka”, “Luzhin's Defense”, “The Feat”) became the inhabitants of Berlin (“King, Lady, Jack”). These novels allow us to identify the features of the writer's artistic picture of the world as a bright representative of the “younger” generation of the first wave of emigration and characterize the narrative strategy of his texts, which, in our opinion, is a characteristic feature of this generation of writers.
